christmas albums

Nothing gets me more into the holiday spirit than hearing Christmas music. It's being played everywhere now and I love it. It's become a little tradition for me to always get a new Christmas music album every year (most often more than one), so I've been searching for this year's best new offerings.

The latest Christmas album I've bought is Enya's new offering: And Winter Came. In true Enya fashion the songs on this album are calm, ambient and relaxing.

Sarah Brightman has a new new album, A Winter Symphony:

Faith Hill's new Joy to the World seems like it would be good:

And some of my favorite Christmas albums to listen to:

Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas. How can you not sing along to the classic, "All I Want for Christmas is You"?

Josh Groban's Noel. This was THE CD of last year's holiday season. I listened to it over and over again.

Sarah McLachlan's Wintersong:

Aaron Neville's Soulful Christmas. I love it. His version of "Please Come Home for Christmas" is unmatched.

What's your favorite Christmas album?
