I'm not gonna lie, I'm ready for summer to end and fall to get here. I'm ready for crisp, cool weather, vibrant changing leaves and sweatshirts. Boots and blazers. College football. Scarves and Starbucks Pumpkin Spice lattes.

I love a good quote. I've been receiving the Real Simple Daily Thought emails for over a year now, and it's always nice to read a motivational, inspirational, or uplifting message in the morning. 

I always write down quotes that appeal to me, and now I have a little notebook full of them. So I thought I'd start a new weekly feature here on the blog by sharing a favorite quote and image every Sunday.

I'm normally not a fan of the chunky, bulky, ankle-boot type shoes, but the minute I saw these, I was smitten. The Coach Brandie heel gives a more refined feel to the popular gladiator style. Edgy but with some classic structure to it. These would be perfect for fall.

Hunter and I are celebrating our anniversary by taking a day trip to visit the Biltmore. I couldn't be more excited as I've been looking forward to going for so long! Before we go to Asheville though, my weekend starts today when I head out of town to visit family & friends. It's a weekend of mini trips.

Impossibly French

I just finished reading the cutest book: All You Need to be Impossibly French. Author Helena Frith Powell interviews glamorous French women to find out what it is that makes them so uniquely... French. You know, stylish, slim, sexy, glamorous, intelligent and naturally beautiful. It's a quick little read and pretty entertaining. Makes me want to move to France.

Upon first glance, I was immediately taken with the color palette of the latest Marie Claire cover. 

Soft coral, gray-toned seafoam, with white and black. It seems it's been my favorite color palette for a while, as evidenced by these pics I've had saved up in my Inspiration folder.
