Today, I'm going dress shopping for the first time! I've got two appointments at two different bridal boutiques and am super excited to be able to try on some (i.e. lots of) dresses. Could I find "the one" today? :)

Ivanka Trump got married this past weekend, and I'm totally in love with her custom made Vera Wang dress, inspired by Grace Kelly. The sheer overlay at the top is classic and elegant but still unique and stunning. It's beautiful!

I've been thinking about what would be the best way to blog about my wedding planning. The ideas have already started flowing and I know I'll have tons of things I'll want to share on here, but I'm sure not every reader wants to be overloaded with "wedding!" I haven't decided yet if I'll start a new wedding-only blog or just try to keep a good balance of post topics here...
In the meantime, I've found myself already looking for inspiration for color palettes. Coco+Kelley shared some of these gorgeous fashion photography photos, and I love the rich and decadent colors.

I really like Anne Hathaway's look here. The vibrant Lela Rose dress is just perfect. And with it paired up against her brunette locks and the maroon backdrop, it's instantly reminiscent of autumn hues.
