fall decor

I've been looking around for good fall harvest decor (still in nesting mode!). Everytime I see decor in the stores though, I always second-guess how good it will look in my house, so I can never commit, and I just go back to looking for inspiration photos. Eventually I'll have some fall decor in my house!

Today is my birthday. And the first day of July. Which means I get married THIS MONTH! Today, we did a venue walkthrough with our coordinator, photographer, and caterer and I am so excited to visualize it all coming together! July promises to be a wonderful month :)

Getting a lump of coal for Christmas wouldn't be so bad if it contained a small surprise! Make your own faux-coal, a la Martha, to hold tiny gifts for those on your nice list :)

Festive wreaths might just be my new favorite holiday decor. According to Martha, you can make a wreath out of just about anything!

I'd really like to incorporate a wreath or two into the wedding somehow... it'll probably go on the list of DIY projects.
